As you have probably noticed, I have started to introduce different parts of Iran in my blog (which is turning into a photo blog gradually). Golestan is in the north near the city where my mum comes from (remember the add about Shahrood?). Golestan conservation area, including Golestan Forest, is one of the largest conservation areas in the world. There are so many people who have devoted their lives entirely to protecting this conservation land. Although it is vastly being devastated by industrialisation and the "arrogance of humansim".
